Venues

One of the Polar Bear cubs at the zoo

I went to three venues, Fantasilandia Amusement Park, a Song Festival at Quinta vergara and Santiago Zoo.  The venue I’m going rave about is the magnificent Santiago Zoo. The Zoo is located at 289 Pio Nono road. Santiago Zoo is only 19 km from the superb hotel  you stay at - Holiday Inn Santiago. The Zoo is open from 10am - 6pm but I stayed from
1pm - 3pm.

Two of the adorable White Tiger cubs
The animals I thought were fascinating to visit were the famous three toed sloths. The Sloth I adored was in a cage with six others. In the eye catching cage there were many branches, trees and ropes. Most the sloths were quietly sleeping but the babies were cuddled up on their parents chest sleeping. I also appreciated visiting the Polar Bears playing in the soft snow and ice and then swimming down in the freezing cold water to catch some fish. Santiago Zoo is also a home to White Tigers and their unforgettably cute cubs. Since I was there at feeding time I got to feed and hold the White Tiger cubs. I was also able to visit the Seals and their cute little pups to feed them their fish for lunch.

Per person to visit Santiago Zoo for three hours it only costs an astonishing $53.50, and for one person to feed the animals it only costs a thrilling $3.00. Altogether for a family of four it only costs $226.00
